My Body Is a Shell
My body is a shell,
full of tiny cracks,
through each tiny crack,
seeps my inner self,
little by little,
my confidence is drained,
how long will this last?
Will I take the strain?
Maybe I will,
until I'm completely broken,
when my energies have gone,
and my last words are spoken,
until that day,
I've got to be strong,
and remember to say to myself,
I've done nothing wrong
