My Blue Jay

Will you take this broken man? Into your heart and loving hand? For you are my true Blue Jay, My true love in every way. I am lost without you near, Am I making myself clear? This lone wolf howls for you, Asking will you love me too? No matter what they say, This wolf has his Blue Jay. How ever long it shall last, Into eternity I would cast. Our souls together as one, Already our hearts have sung. An expanse between us lays, Except for a night and two days.

I love the way you wrote your emotions here. The blue jay metaphor is so strong

This part of the plea would have been enough, if you ask me. "This lone wolf howls for you," reminds me of "you had me at hello".
