My Blind Eyes See

I hide myself and never speak out, I wonder why to be heard I have to shout, Sometimes I close my eyes and hold my breath, Silence is just a sudden death. I want to touch you but you are too far away, Some days I just want you to stay, But every time I open my mouth to say, The further you drift away, My soul and yours were together once, In a past life together for months, But you drift away and I forget your face, You whisper "Don't you know your place?" Fading sun why must you leave me? With blind eyes I finally see. A monster, no longer my love. The mask you wore flew away like a dove.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

"Don't you know your place?" I like that line. Personally, if you take away "a" in "Silence is just a sudden death" it sounds better, That's how it did in my head anywhere. i liked a few parts in this. nice.
