My Best Friend
You have always stayed with me, stood by my side,
Even when everyone else leaves me alone.
When I need someone to turn to, you always provide.
You are the best friend I have ever known.
Even if I am annoying and rude,
You never seem to even get mad.
You stay with me through my every mood,
Whether I’m happy, angry, scared, or sad.
Although you can’t always be here beside me,
You are with me when I need it the most.
You are as good a friend as a friend be,
I will always love you, even when we're both a ghost.
You sit beside me while we're doing our work,
And you are always with me when I’m feeling low.
Sometimes I get mad and I act like a jerk,
But you always care for me, even more than I know.
You are the only one that I can cry to,
The only one I can talk to about what I feel.
In the world, friends like you are few,
A best friend, and one that is real.
