My Best Friend

There might be gold
There might be loot
But nothing is more valuable than my friendship with you
We look at each other and instantly understand
We're sisters but more, it's hard to comprehend
You're kind, caring and you never miss a beat
When you know that I'm sad or mad you'll come right at my feet
You'll ask me what's wrong and make sure I feel better
With your beautiful smile and warm heart that makes you feel happy forever
We've laughed, we've cried
We've been through tough times
But we've stuck together
And held it together
There's nothing I'd rather do then spend time and be with you
You are my best friend and I hope I am yours too
