If I hurt your feelings, I can honestly say,
     I will be quick to offer the best apology I can
          I’m so sorry, I really didn’t mean to spoil your day.

Oh, I think it's a good thing. Nothing wrong with saying you're sorry. I'm afraid the art of apologizing is slipping away, however.

So true, Jan. I've apologized to this one woman on P.S. a zillion times, and she's not at all receptive, so I say "who cares" about her. She obviously has major issues. Also, she can't write worth a diddily!

Hmmm...this was really generic, Gershon. Do you know something I don't? Oh, oh, you might be referring to a certain lady who apparently despises me, but I pay her no mind. She has issues! Anyway, I didn't refer to a specific gender, 'cause I'm an equal opportunity offender!
