My Beloved
I close my eyes
Breathe into my heart
And there You are.
I feel you warm my insides
Like whisky dipped in stars.
I feel you stroke my face with the tenderness of silk
And whisper to me,
You are my beloved.
I open my eyes
And you are still there.
Always with me.
Your invisible arms hold me
Like a mama bear,
And I am filled with wholeness,
The sky, the sun, the sea, the earth…
Humbled by your Grace
And I know
I am your beloved.
