My Beliefs
Spirituality gives me something concrete to believe in that religion did not.
The Native American beliefs about life after death are the only ones that have ever made sense.
I thought my beliefs were mine alone until I talked to my husband.
They are his beliefs too.
He always claims to have Native American blood.
I have always wished for it, but never claimed it.
We took a DNA test.
Because our children wanted the results.
We never cared.
We are spiritual beings.
Earthly labels don't concern us.
Never have.
We're spirit people.
Someday we'll all be one.
Until that time, we
have each other.
One is Won.
