My Beautiful Scar

My scar,
The memory of my past,
The reminder of my pain,
The avoidance of the wrong doing
pushes the good away

My scar which pushes the lovable ones away,
Because my scar is on my heart,
Boldly written on my heart,
I'm half dead and half alive

My scar is seen as an ugly sight
But I see it as a beautiful sight
My beautiful scar,
A lesson I have learnt,
My beautiful scar the love I have lost for years and still longing to have has stabbed me,
Leaving me with a scar!

The scar I see as a beauty
Because it is a sign of love,
The power of not letting go,
The never ending love.

My beautiful scar!

Interesting view of not letting go of the past. Hanging on or glorifying a scar is easier sometimes than trying to start a new life. Well done.
