My Beautiful One

My beautiful one,
wrap me up tight
in the warmth
of the longest night,
I'm trembling from doubt,
not from cold:
it's desire, it's joy
that explodes in delight.

Ok, my beautiful one
be the love that's true,
never told: a tale for two.

Most women rush,
they want love today,
but love's not a game you play;
it's a gamble of win and lose,
heart on the line,
or take it in stride,
just let love shine.
My beautiful one,
hold on very tight on this night
where everything seems so right.

Wach treasure sparkles
with its delusive glitters;
in daylight they fade,
but in the dark they simmer.
My beautiful one,
let's settle for the worth,
not for the promise
that spin in the surf.
Don't trust in wishes
that whisper their doubt;
let's dance in the shadows,
let love shout out.

Most women rush,
they want love today,
but love's not a game you play;
it's a gamble of win and lose,
heart on the line,
or take it in stride,
just let love shine.
My beautiful one
hold on very tight on this night,
where everything seems right.

Gaze at a universe
nearby, truly bright,
the rest are distant,
hidden from sight;
we can find a place,
a love undiscovered.
Don't let go of my hand,
we'll journey afar;
in the beauty and silence:
we'll reach for the stars.

My beautiful one,
be my only desire
in the glow of the night;
let's ignite the fire,
walk with me slow,
no need to rush.
Together we'll bask
in love's tender rush.

Most women rush,
they want love today,
but love's not a game you play;
it's a game of win and lose,
heart on the line,
or take it in stride,
just let love shine.
My beautiful one,
hold on very tight on this night,
where everything seems right.

My beautiful one,
walk, don't run;
in our own universe,
we've already won.
