My Beautiful Gift

So many things in my life are different
I'm not the girl I used to be
I was funloving, carefree, and loud
But the Lord gave me a gift
A gift that will change my life forever
I had to grow up before I should
I had to be mature
Not only for me, but
For my gift
What is this gift, that changed my life?
This gift is my son
The most wonderful gift
I could have ever recieved
He is so beautiful, so precious
I look at him and cry a little because
Such a wonderful human being
Was brought into the world to me
I don't mind that I had to grow up
I don't mind that I am different
Because if I was who I was
Than I wouldn't have
My beautiful gift
