My Beast

My Beast I have a beast in me which is despair. Every time I think of you, it is done with my hopes. Yet it feeds this ravenous beast inside me. This beast is buried deep within me, it slowly devours all my hopes. It is always there lurking. This beast lives amid the wreckage which I created. This beast is has a name, its name is truth. He is the thing which bind me to reality. The pain of this beast within me, is the reality of truth which hurts. It devours all hope which is not reality. It abandon's me in a future which does not include you. Slowly I look at this truth. The pain of it is deep, still the longing is always there. You are far away, in your own world. You have your own beast which binds you to your reality. I am afraid, it is because of reality. I hate my beast. Still I will always gaze into the world of hope. Feeding that beast which grows.
