My Baby Boy

You came into our daycare
At only the age of ten weeks
Right then and there you caputerd my heart
Right then and there I felt you become part of me

Where have the years gone by
Now two years of age
But I still remember holding your bottle
I remember singing you to sleep

Then one of the worst day of my life came
The day you had to move away
Not seeing you everyday is going to kill me
Wanting you to really be mine, it hurts me

I look back at the door
Hoping maybe that I was dreaming
That just maybe the love of my life
Didn't walk out the door forever

This is a write of love and longing that is captured well in these words..very sweet honest portrayal.
