My Baby and Me

We walked hand in hand into the yard my baby and I, her little face smiling up at me with
laughter and happiness all a glow.

Not yet two years old but so loving and oh so smart as she helped grandma carry the bird
seed across the lawn to the feeder.

I couldn't help but think how lucky I am to share in these moments with her and wonder if
someday she might recall that magical moment we had together in the garden.

Seeing life through her eyes is an experience I will treasure for the rest of mine and as
we walked I suddenly remembered holding her moms hand in much the same way many years before.

Life does repeat itself for those of us who are lucky enough to remember and have the
patience to wait for it.

What precious memories Sharon, I hope one day to have grandchildren but my son doesn't show any interest at the moment ... but who knows in time I hope he finds a wonderful girl who will love him as much as I do:-) hugs jan xx
