Think what you will about what I say but,
heed my advice and remember to pray,
spend time with kids, that is for sure,
and always think as you go through that door.
My daughter Sachiko Jessica [7-9-79 to 9-9-79]
I still speak with her every day.
I kiss her goodnight, two months to the day,
and prepare the van, for an overnight stay.
The plan is, a family trip to the shore
No thought of regret, can't open that door
Hours had passed, when I heard my wife's cry,
I rushed to that cry, so to nullify
The fear in her eye's, I saw from the door,
directing me toward, the horror she saw
Then I'm inside, on my baby's right side,
I see she's blue, and I know what to do
The soldier inside, is trained to save lives
I pumped her chest, and gave her my breath
I got on the line, all while keeping time,
rescue arrives and, I hear SHE'S ALIVE!
We fly outside, to follow her ride,
lights flash emergency, on the outside
There is no time to spare, when we arrived,
we rush through the door, to be by her side
I Pray that my daughter, fought and survived,
no words spoken, I can see from Doc's eye's
My heart hits the floor, and breaks deep inside,
facing my wife, I can tell her no lies
We dropped at the door, our daughters no more,
for she didn't survive, this ambulance ride
Now she's our Angel, we know this inside
My family now four, will have to abide
