My Agreeable Friend

My Agreeable Friend By Elton Camp When I nod my head, he nods his too To show that is the best for me to do Then if I should give my head a shake The very same action is what he'll take Anytime I show thumbs up in delight He imitates it to show me that I'm right But if it's with thumbs down I signify The same gesture from him I'll spy If proceed to hang my head in shame, Then he always does the very same I shrug my shoulder to say I don't know Then exact sentiment my friend will show In all that arises, we walk step for step Agreeable but such a friend's of little help For he always agrees with me to the letter But my shadow does that job much better
