My African Sun

MY AFRICAN SUN [BY OHWOJEVWE ESE GANIYU] My African sun Hot as you may Be measured with Hot or cold instruments You still mean So much more to Us in the African continent When we wake up In the mornings We feel joyous To see you standing In the East And when the birds And hens are Homeward bound to roost That is the right Time to behold God’s best gift Of nature.
