Must Be Nice
must be nice
re-united are souls separated on Earth,
memories come to life, once again.
Uncles, Aunts, grandpas and grandmas -
a newly formed family, up in heaven.
must be nice
Whilst we still hold on to past departures,
for death still stings when days turn cold,
as scars attempt to re-surface, deep within our hearts.
Food is harder to swallow, gulping down liquids to help ease the throat meant to tempt the tears to fall.
must be nice
Oh how we wish we could gain access to supervised visits, sanitise our sensitivity,
for those who left before you are now blessed to have you.
must be nice -
we miss you, no matter the years gone by,
we miss you, especially on Christmas time.
