Musings On Presidents In Residence

It's so hard to select just one president -- even harder to put a new resident into a WH occupied by true decadents You think I mean Biden and Trump, ho-ho but I'm thinking Bush vs. Gore, and Clinton, you know for true and lasting decadence, Slick Willy takes precedence __________________________________________________ It may still come as news to some, but Bill and Hilary trashed the WH upon their departure, taking 'stuff' valued at well over $300,000 home with them. They regarded the White House as 'their home,' and themselves as 'deserving royalty.' ~ Source: Dinesh de Souza's book, "Stealing America." (I know Dinesh, who graduated Dartmouth College, as did I. He's a straight shooter).

Oh, no, no, no. Why, I hope I didn't mis-speak or anything. Those bullets when I got off the plane in Bosnia WERE really there, and What DIFFERENCE does Bengzi make anyway? Those 4 people are dead, aren't they? Oh, it's so hard to stay at an even keel when there are so many racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic blue-collar, Church-going types still to be replaced by college-educated people... Ha ha ha ha! Would that it were so... And it wasn't Paula Jones either... If I remmeber correctly, Clinton was called 'Slick Willie' due to shady real estate transactions on his way up the political ladder. ~ gw

Love it Gershon! Trump did a lot of great things but one of the GREATEST thing he did was to win the WH and keep the hillary and billary trailer trash out of the WH!

Who, Who, Who. Bush usually seemed at odds and didn't knw whcch way to turn. Don't know a whole lot about Gore but Clinton was an international embarrassment. As far as I could see Trump did nothing but help America and the democrats did nothing but try to throw as much mud on hm as they could. Biden iis a Demoncrat so I don't really trust him. Obama did everything he could to bring America to it's knees and pretty well succeeded. Trump had a mess to clean up. God Bless my friend, JB

Interesting assessments you've made, Judy. Pretty much agree with all of them. (Bush was actually 'lucky' 9/11 happened on his watch. You're right. He had no idea what to do in the WH. That gave him a focus, though he overplayed his hand at the end). To sum up Biden: He's Obama without inhibitions. We're in for a 'progressive' (read regressive!) push like we've never seen before. Hope it crashes against the rocks of reality, and woe to us if it does not... We'll see what happens... ~ Just sayin'

Dinesh and I went to a small college. It traditionally enrolled 800 new freshman a year until 2000 or so. I was pretty social, so I got to know almost everyone in all the classes, and then through alumni magazines, I got to know a lot of the higher-profile students in the succeeding years. Dinesh was one of those; he is a bit younger than I am. Thanks for the support, Heidi. :) gw
