Musings On Forgiveness

how contorted is our heart
if we are unable to forgive
it seems we have forgotten
the authentic way to live

we need to save our soul
from schemings of our ego
why is it that this delusion
we seem unable to let go

Loved your spiritual poem, Dear Seeker - it is so deep and sublime! "how contorted is our heart if we are unable to forgive" - in few words, this is a huge question to mankind! I sent you an email, Dear Poet, you may not have noticed. Best wishes ~ Mala
