Notes About The Poem

Musings by the river

A calm current passes by
in one easy endless flow;
time does not stand still.

All cares vanish in a world
that does not care
about petty  grievances.

A hypnotic lull pacifies my spirit
as I freely abandon my thoughts
to a wise ageless river.

there's something soothing about getting lost in the sound of water. Loved this.
