Musicians In Love

Looking back, so long ago Comes recollections of an Airforce Show Cathy and I were scheduled to sing entertain Service Men, that was our thing Out in the crowd of a thousand or more One guy kept staring, a trait I abhor Soon we wound up, under heavy applause nervy guy followed, WHY? 'Just because!' "Judy, I need you to sing in my band!" "I need your number", then stuck out his hand Well......Music is big in New Orleans plus the former jerk was upsetting my dreams Who knows when or where we both tumbled? but it's been 52 years without a fumble! 1/28/16 contest - In Love Cathy/Judy Singing Keesler Airforce Base '59

What a story, and wonderful poem, sure telling more of a side between you and your Mother than we know about. Keep going, it is wonderful. I been to Keesler, and wrote a song about Biloxi, BIL-UXI in case they don't know, and a favorite truck driver song I wrote of mine, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA. I wrote it on Ship Island. Is Ship Island still there or did Katrina blow it away?

Wish you could have been with us Arthur...talk about fun. My mom once threw Bobby Vinton out of the studio for trying to record on her time! LOL... some of the guys still play in a band but now they play for the old age home...and remark, " Hell some of the people are younger than us!" LOL Thanks for stopping....
