Musical History

As the conductor lifts his baton to begin
my heartrate speeds up and the magic begins
as my fingers fly over the strings and my bow
glides as the music ebbs and flows through
the piece that was written and first performed
more than a hundred years before I was born.

Beautiful, as a musician I loved this. I am rather partial to Wagner these days.

I love Wagner. Handel and Vivaldi are two that I am enjoying right now. But that changes frequently!
