Music of the Mind
In every sense of consciousness
And in puddles of the subconscious
Obligation pulls at the strings of temptation
Plucking faster at the memories chords
Until the rush of panic crashes
Breaking through the minds barrier of sanity
The harp screams the song of dread
Echoing through the inner prison passageways
And settling for the cold walls of being
Finally shatters the ideology of repetition
Within every throbbing pulse
The hymn radiates in hollowness
Emptiness of immense proportion
Rattles the core of every bone
And the psyche skips.
