Music of Life
In a serene setting beneath a starry sky
We sat and listened to the music of life
My head against your chest I listened
To the rhythmic beating of your heart
And your whispered words tickled my senses
As your hands ran through my hair
A wolf cried breaking the overall silence
Soon to be joined by a chorus of cries
And the grasshoppers began to serenade
As the leaves danced in the wind
The gentle rustling of leaves was magical
Out here in the beautiful countryside
And when I looked up into your eyes
I could feel my heart melt when your lips claimed mine
It was in that moment I heard the greatest music of life
The love we share with one another
