Music My Most Faithful Friend
Music is my most faithful friend
Iv said it once and I'll say it again
Music is my way to heal
Through my veins its all I feel
Music makes me feel calm
It weather's the storm, like a needle in my arm
It hits me hard and stops the pain
The singers voice makes me whole again
I play her when I'm feeling sad
Her voice vibrates and hits the ground
For a moment all is right
In this little world that is my life
The same singer I play over and over
"Avril lavigne" in my little enclosure
It doesn't matter what song plays
All that matters is she's the reason I stayed
"Sk8ter Boi" or "Girlfriend" it never matters
She's my drug when my life's in shatters
Whatever battle I have to face
I'll take her along, no matter my fate
A long hospital stay is ahead
So her music I play to stay out of my head
Playing it loud and playing it proud
Music my drug when I'm alone in the clouds
So until I cant, it's her I will play
Play her again to keep the darkness at bay
My life she will save once again
And to that all I say is amen
Music on and always healing
This new battle is just beginning
I'm so tired and want to give up
But her music tells me to keep my chin up
So one more song before I go
Go back to a place so dark and unknown
One more song to get my hit
The battle begins, this is it!!
