Music Men
As the hot bright sun
Shines down on me
I try and think of a song
A song for me to sing
Sing I do, and Sing I must
Song's of this age!!!
Dont have that certain trust
The certain trust I speak of
Is in all the founders of music
They gave us there word and entertained
Unlike us with talent they used it
But there were no big rewards
And No big money payments
They kept on singing
As they entertained us
And as music spread
Throughout the land
Everyone had forgotten
About that beginning band
Who gave us there talent
And gave us there trust
Now all you see
Is drughead's on a bus
Times have changed
It's not like before
Kids tripping on acid
Reminds me of the doors
But I shall never forget
The founders of music
They've given me so much
So I will try and use it
And earn there trust
As everyone should
Carry on there name
And carry it good
Loudly sing a song
Just to entertain
To me there's just no use
No use for fame
