Music In Its Interiorized Tone
It’s lovely and an awesome experience
to hear musicians play your favorite repertoire;
its profundity with robust sound and command
indeed an ardent and vigorous performance.
Chopin, with his romantic music
soothes one’s emotions and interiorizes notes
same with Bach whose period conventions
hated artifice and affectation.
But others say his music sounds a narcissist’s dream
which focuses on crystalline articulation
and rhythmic vitality in the interpretation
his trademark like a question and answer portion.
I admire their discipline and accuracy in playing,
it’s adherence to composer’s intent
with their careful articulation
reflects texture, rigor, depth and structure.
Oh, such a beautiful language of the soul
that music can create transformation
with its immortality and profound inspiration
can provide an answer that goes within one’s soul.
