Music Hypnotic
soothing music, the supreme,
softest relaxant,
gracefully weaves a silken,
aural tapestry;
bathes and buoys my woe asea
in rhythmic wonders;
tames and teases my rage with
melodious splendors;
hypnotizes me into
temporary bliss
that, no matter how fleeting,
somehow compensates
for those I treasured that I may have
forever lost,
for which I'll give up all that I have
to pay the cost !
