Music Box

remember when you used to open your hand and i would dance in your palm a human music box always spinning to your favorite song then you would grow tired and close me up only letting me dance when you wanted to be amused you were always the music in my heart even in the darkness of your control i would pray to see the light the lid open so i could ballet a smile across your world

Awh, such a good write, it reminds me of becoming a young woman after being a child for so long, growing old of a music box or love that once was so fun and beautiful, but has been grown out of. Sad, yet beautiful at the same time. Lovely write!
