What I enjoy most about Christmas
The blending of voice together to create color
The ability to express emotions that words cannot
Music has always always been in the background of my family
It was played and sung on road trips by my parents
Its was taught to all of my siblings
It was played in different forms by my family
It was always in the background of holiday time
The piano was always played by my brother or sister
My father would love to lead us in Christmas song
He loved to sing boldly bellowing
Mom's voice was a beautiful soprano in the background
It created harmony within our family
We lost one of our piano players this year
Don't let the music die with him
It must keep on going to help us express the emotions
Our words cannot
Play it while cooking, while eating, while sharing gifts
For it is the greatest gift that can be shared
It doesn't cost anything but a good heart and a lot of soul
Sing together, remember all that we have
Cherish it forever
