Music

Music is heard.
I am intoxicated by the music.

I stagger.

The music fades.
I awaken from the music.

I run to greet the sunlight.

Music is heard.
My soul is comforted.

The music fades.
My soul grows all the more steadfast.

Our music—
In the end, what could it be,

If not love?
