Judy, I do add mushrooms to dishes but only the bought kind which are supposed to be safe. Sara

Jenna, It seems they spring up overnight. I noticed them because they were growing on the weeping willow stump that we had to take down because it was dying and a threat to our house. Thanks for the visit. Sara
