Museum of Modern Art

Is it the light that long high fluorescence? Or is it the half-light? Why am I so dizzy? Or was it the Sleeping Gypsy mounted just above descending stairs? I'd seen the work in magazines robbed of size and color flair but now in its magnificence Oh why am I so dizzy? It must have been my first full view lifesize view of Guernica in its breadth its height all that black and white stretched along the basement wall Why am I so dizzy mind in ghostly disarray? I finally think it is this feeling opaque Brush Paint Plaster Wire Marble Canvas Transcendental SPLIT! "WE are HERE!"

Enjoying this write, Daver.:) Up close and personal with these works of art could make you feel "dizzy". Dazzled and dazed; much to fill in an 'opaque' space. The artists would blissful with your boundless appreciation. Mark of a true poet, Daver, lots of works to catch up on here. Best wishes, Mikki

I can't seem to get back to my old weight. So this year I am doing 1,600 a day. I really hate that. Because I adore food. Today at my school I get some test done that meaures if our arteries are clogged or not. I showed pretty good blood pressure and CLEAR arteries, etc. I work out 4 times a week. Don't eat perfectly healthy but much better than when young. If only my bones were not in such bad shape! (neck and back) I think you are awesome to have lost so much weight! Luv,Andrea

So where is this museum, Daver. So many years ago, I went to Louvre and later to El Prado in Madrid. I got to see New York's big museum too. I wish I could see others. This is a wonderful depiction of how it feels to see great art UP close and personal!! Verrrry nice. About my Addictions, yeah, I have counted calories since age 14 when I realized I could not eat like a horse and get away with it any more. I was doing 2,000 a year up to last year. Then noticed I was slowly gaining. (cont)

Hey Daver! When were you there?! I haven't been to MOMA in years and years! It is quite different to see photos of paintings and the real deal.

Awesome work Daver. I so love your writing style. It is always like BEING THERE wherever you are. Somewhat intense effect this painting has on you, as so it should. Makes me want to hop on a train and go to the museum. It's been so long. Well done! Love, Shar
