Muse
Tonight, again you play your game
You give just enough to keep me
trying but you never let me win
My words struggle to find there place
on the blank sheet and when they do
you wash them off with uncertainty
I know you’re there. I can feel you
just outside my reach, haunting me
with all your promises of glory
No matter how much I scream
and beg it’s yet to no avail.
Why must you torment me with these hopes
These dreams of happiness and fame
You know that I will always fail
Will you ever end to this torture
