Murmurs of a Chair

Anxiety chokes thought
Hearing murmurs of a chair
In a shadowed room
Some glimmers of secrecy
Hankers in this lonely end?

Compelling poem, Joseph. The first line is especially awesome and I love your description of secrecy remaining in the ends of the shadowed room. Best wishes in Rick's contest! Love, Carolyn
