Murderer

I’d seen him lurking in the shadows
He’d been stalking me for hours
All alone in the house
I was at his mercy

Finally, he backed me into a corner
I let out a blood curdling scream
startled, he ran off in a blind panic
directly into the jaws of the mousetrap I’d set
It closed with a loud SNAP

Who needs a cat… adieu pesky mouse!
