Mum Mum

As a mom you may wonder
Just what you mean
You clothe me and feed me
And make sure I'm clean

You're there when I cry
And at night when I'm scared
You've sat up with me
Without even a care

You've spent your shoe budget
And never thought twice
To buy me formula, cereal
And puffs made of rice

You've changed many diapers
Though not all have been bad
You know what to do
When I'm tear filled and sad

You'd sacrifice body
Your mind or your soul
To the ends of this world
For me you would go

So whenever you are at the store
Please buy me a toy
I send this message with my love
From your baby boy
