Muir Musings

“Oh, these vast, calm, measureless mountain days, days in whose light everything seems equally divine, opening a thousand windows to show us God.” John Muir

MUIR MUSINGS

filling in the crags,
my mind like a maelstrom,
soaking up the thunderclouds and waves.

I remember reading an essay on "Descent into the Maelström", where the story was seen as a metaphor for a spiritual trial. Learning is not a safe but a very exciting process, indeed) Perfectly penned, Kim.
