Muffled Bliss

winter is becoming
my new best season
o how I’m loving
retired life
the hibernating months
of self-indulgence
the muffled nights
of glittery fallen snow
the soul-stirring feeling
of blissful seclusion

You do make retirement sound gloriously grand, as the cold is something that used to make me feel this way. With cold-air induced asthma, however, my feelings are a bit less than blissful. The isolation part however would see quite wonderful to me.
