Mud Season
Anacreontic verse...
Mud season
Boots squishing
Wind blasting
Cyan lips pursed
Enough already
God hates us
The assaultive
Translucent blue
Frigid raindrops
Horizontal
Penetrating
Get indoors
Oh, let the sun-soaked
Gloom breaking
Cerulean sky
Merrily melt
the gray-cobalt
coffin clouds
Soon, the bright
Azure blooms
It will bring
Delphinium
Blue hyacinth
Geranium
Glowing in the sun
Warm wind
Pollen wafting
Softening breeze
God’s mercy is right
Around the corner
