Mrs Catfish

There's a fishmongers wife called catfish
she's elegant, flamboyant quite swish
expensive clothes she wears
lives her life without cares
but smelling of fish is not stylish.

Roy, I first heard from you on my win in Alexis' favorite movie contest with my limerick on Ms. Doubtfire. I like your entry on the Catfish contest. I wrote for it but didn't do a limerick. My entry is on a fictitious character. I never knew my real Grandpa and there are no Johnson's in my family. The Oconee River and the Sportsman Club are only two miles from my house and catfish stew is one of the favorite meals served there. Love your character and your limerick, my friend.

Thank you so much for your very kind comment Curtis, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story, my geography isn’t brilliant but I think the Oconee River is in the state of Georgia and flows through the Oconee National park which looks an amazing place to live, sorry to say but never tried catfish perhaps one day I will, thanks again for your support much appreciated my friend. :))

Thanks Jan, not sure if this is what Catie is looking for but as long as it gave you a smile that’s good enough for me. :))
