Mrs Carter and Her New Car

Mrs Carter decided she would buy a new car Looking forward to journeys both near and far She listened intently to the salesman's patter Fuel consumption and speed didn't matter The small blue one would be easy to park A good choice according to salesman Mark She gave it the once over the deal was done Delivered tomorrow so she could start her fun Sure enough the car was delivered next day Keys handed over would soon be on her way A trip into town would be nice thought Mrs Carter She turned the key and the car was a non starter Mrs Carter had been taken literally for a ride A dud car that looked nice from the outside She rang up Mark who was nowhere to be seen Nor was the money she paid both cruel and mean
