Mr Sun Come Visit

Mr. Sun, come, visit an earthly stay, 
sing a gay music phrase with your warm rays 
Send them my way with an extended stay
Flutter round and run relays in a maze 
of cloudless baby blue want-tum long days
Imprint your proud hugs and ascending blaze

After the long winter we are all anxiously waiting for the warmth of the sun. Today is April 19 and although the snow was mostly gone we got some flurries this morning which turned into an all day snowfall that was wet and slushy. (sigh) Nice one Eve, God Bless, JB

Ahhhh!! It has been cloudy and rainy here for a few days but today is supposed to sunny, but it is a little cool this morning. I saw a sliver of pale rose on the horizon earlier, so I believe it is going to be a sunny day. Your poem made me think about the fact that they say that up north they are going to get some more snow from this system that gave us the rain. Snow this late in April.
