Mr Ladybird

This little fellow, sports a dashing suit
He’s covered in spots and looks quite cute
You can find him in summer on many a leaf
Chewing at the bad guys, with his little teeth

This tiny gardener keeps our plants clean
You’ll have to look carefully, or he won’t be seen
His flying skills are a wobbly delight
As he unfolds his wings...... and then takes flight

Hidden in his back they’re stored away
Conveniently protected for his busy day
So if you see him, leave him be......
He’s no harm to plants......you......or me!
