The fact that you're a Christian doesn't mean that you are without sin. It means that you are forgiven. However the Bible does say that we will be forgiven the same way we forgive others and with our own measure it will be measured unto us.  Luke 6:37

The way some people go around pointing out the faults and short comings of their neighbors is what keeps a lot of people out of church. Being a Christian doesn't mean you have a right to tell others they need to pull up their socks and act superior to them. Jesus was The Son of God and He was humble, patient and forgiving.

You see the sin in everyone, The darkness and decay, Deceit, skullduggery and lies, Point out their wrongful ways. The dirt upon their window panes, The filth around their doorsteps, You see each one for what they are, And know the secrets kept, Hidden in the darkness, Of their dirty little minds. You see their weaknesses and faults, But to your own you're blind.

You could not have put it any better. So many criticise others but forget their own defects. Hugs

The changes in churches and people's attitudes in my lifetime, is frightening; the "party" church seems to be taking over and with it, politics and all-too superior attitudes. Nothing like what Christ taught. Well penned.

WoW! "The Party Church". That's a new one to me. Politics and the church should never mix. Scary indeed. Thanks bunches. God Bless, JB

So true Judy, we're all sinners no one is perfect, it annoys me how some think going to church once a week makes them holier than thou. No one has the right to be critical of others. Tom
