Notes About The Poem

Picture Prompt #1

Mr Cat and His Tea

Mr. Cat sat and sat,
and then he sat some more.
"Maybe I should take a nap,
but I might loudly snore."

"I know, I'll read a book!"
He bought one from the store.
Mr. Cat read and read,
and then he read some more.

His head began to nod.
He made some tea to pour.
Mr. Cat drank and drank.
and then he drank some more.

Mr. Cat read and drank
till he could sit no more.
Mr. Cat went to bed
and soon began to snore.

Very cute and silly, reminds me of my cat. Did you lend your account to him and let him write this?! Haha

Thank you Everleigh. I can slip into a child's mind with ease (oh dear, what does that say about me? LOL). I love cats and am deeply sorry he got into your account. ;) Thanks for visiting! :)

Congratulations on your win. I enjoyed reading your creative cat write. A cat that snores. Did you know they can? I had one as a child that did. Have a blessed day/week.....................
