Mr Bear

Six months ago I was all alone
Sitting at home cold to the bone
A simple text was all it took
You came to my aid like a prince in a book

You looked at me with a smile so true
You told me that you’d help me through,
This is not your burden to bear
But it’s nice to know you’re going to be there

For the first time in my life
I have someone who really loves me
We sat in bed and made our plans
And then we slept while you held my hand

And in the morning you still meant what you said
"Let’s live all the dreams inside our heads"
With all the bad some good must come
Now it’s our turn to get some

Let’s make a home, a life and adventure
Let’s travel the world and look to the future
Settle down when the time is right
A ring and a baby might even be in sight

You've turned my world upside down
You've stopped my smiles turning into a frown
You let me know you’re here to stay
But there’s still one thing I have to say….

If this fairy tale should one day end
I don’t think my heart would mend
You've given me a vision of what life could be
And I only want you to do it with me

But if one day, you have to leave
I really hope it’s not because of me
I know I'm ill and sometimes a mess
But you bring out my very best

Every night before we sleep
I say a prayer for you and me
You’re the man who has my heart
I’ll give you everything there’s no need to ask

I love you more than words can say
I make sure I tell you everyday
I love you Mr, you know it’s true
Now let’s see if we can make it through.
