Mr and Mrs Feathers and Their Happy Nest
Twig by twig they built a nest,
Decorated it in shades of flowers,
She feathered it warm with zeal and zest,
To provide he took flights afar!
Here’s a story of Mr and Mrs feathers and their happy nest!
Who faced harsh weathers and were put to test!
The nest got filled as their egg hatched,
They stocked the nest and made it ready and patched!
Time “flew”, little feathers grew!
They watched in delight, “little feathers” hop,
They wished the bubble of happiness would never pop!
Alas! Came the mighty storm,
Twigs scattered, flowers gone!
The family “feathered” a flight, it was a dark night!
At the dawn a new tree was found,
Start was afresh, cycle is round!
