Moving On

Moving on I’ve got a heart that is made of gold; It’s buried deep and it’s all that I know. I’ve followed my heart to the end of the Earth And all I got was this lousy t-shirt. I keep moving on to another place; Another name, another face, Another love that will fade one day And when we fall out of love I will begin again. I haven’t got enough time to throw it all away, But their love is always searching for a brand new face. I’m only here so they can remember feeling good; I’m their stepping stone, from single life to true love. No part of love will I become, Because to me love is a stranger and it ain’t no fun. Nobody wants to have my love, So I guess I’ll just keep on moving on. (C)2017 Aa Harvey. All Rights Reserved.
